Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UkraineBorder.com (the "Site"), operated by LLC «WELCOME TO UKRAINE» (USREOU 44559356, Ushinsky str, bldg. 40, office 302, Kyiv 03151, Ukraine) (the "Operator", "we", "us"). By using the Site — including through an AI assistant connector — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms are written in plain language. If anything is unclear, contact us at info@welcomeukraine.today.

1. Who we are

UkraineBorder.com is an information resource for foreigners travelling to Ukraine, and an interface for purchasing travel insurance. The Operator is a licensed insurance intermediary (agent) listed on the NBU Insurance Intermediaries Register and supervised by the National Bank of Ukraine. We act as the agent of the insurer — we are not the insurer and we do not underwrite policies.

The insurance product is underwritten by PJSC «IC EUROINS UKRAINE» (trade name "Brave") (the "Insurer"), regulated by the National Bank of Ukraine (insurance licence class 18) and part of the EU-listed Eurohold Bulgaria group under Solvency II.

2. What the Site provides

  • Travel information — guides on border crossings, customs, regional safety, and travel essentials, in 10 languages.
  • Insurance intermediation — the ability to request a quote and purchase a travel-insurance policy with optional war-risk and radiation-risk coverage, issued by the Insurer.
  • AI assistant connector — a read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector that lets AI assistants answer questions from our content and produce an indicative price and a pre-filled checkout link. Its data handling is described in our Privacy Policy (§2.6).

3. Informational content is provided "as is"

Our travel content is general information, not professional, legal, immigration, security, or insurance advice. Conditions in Ukraine — including security situations, border-crossing rules, and government acts — change frequently and without notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate but give no warranty that it is complete, current, or error-free.

Always verify critical details with official sources (your government's travel advice, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, customs authorities, and the insurer's policy documents) before you travel or rely on any information. You use the information at your own discretion and risk.

4. Insurance: how it works and what is binding

  1. Quotes and estimates are indicative, not binding. Any price shown in our content, or produced by the AI connector, is an indicative estimate only. The binding price is the one displayed to you during checkout on the Site, calculated from the data you enter.
  2. The contract is with the Insurer. When you buy a policy, the insurance contract is concluded between you and the Insurer; we act only as the Insurer's agent. The policy's General Terms and Conditions ("GTCP"), including the scope of cover, the claims process, and exclusions, govern your cover.
  3. Steps to issue a policy. A policy is issued only after you, on the Site: provide the required policyholder data, receive the legally-required intermediary identity disclosure (IDD), acknowledge it, sign by one-time code (OTP), and complete payment.
  4. Payment. Payments are processed by WayForPay (a Ukrainian, NBU-regulated, PCI-DSS payment processor). We do not receive or store your card details.
  5. Territorial limits. War-risk cover has territorial limits defined by the policy — broadly, certain zone categories (active-combat areas designated by state acts, temporarily occupied territories, a buffer around both, and special-access-regime areas), not whole regions. The policy documents and the Insurer are the authoritative source for what is and is not covered at any time.
  6. Eligibility and sanctions. Cover is intended for eligible travellers and is subject to the Insurer's sanctions screening. The Insurer may decline an application.

We do not give personalised insurance advice or recommendations; we present the product and facilitate its purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site unlawfully or in breach of these Terms or applicable sanctions; provide false information when applying for a policy; attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems; or use the Site or the AI connector to facilitate entry to, or activity within, the Russian Federation or otherwise in support of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, and compilations are owned by the Operator or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share links to the content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or exploit the content at scale (including automated harvesting) without our written permission. "UkraineBorder" and our logos are our marks.

The Site relies on, and links to, third parties — including the Insurer, WayForPay, and the AI providers that host any assistant connector. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, for which we are not responsible. The AI provider hosting an assistant is a separate, independent controller for whatever you enter into that assistant.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available"; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for travel, financial, or other decisions you make based on the information; and we are not liable for the acts or omissions of the Insurer, the payment processor, or any AI provider. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your rights under the insurance contract, which are governed by the policy and mandatory insurance law.

9. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time — for example, when our services, partners, or the law change. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be indicated on the Site. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply where they grant you stronger protection. The insurance contract is governed by its own terms and applicable Ukrainian insurance law.
